On the 5th of October was held a seminar in Astana on cloud solutions and digitalization in Kazakhstan.

At the event, speakers discussed important aspects of data management, the effectiveness of existing models and the most current models used in Kazakhstan.

Among the speakers were representatives of Informatica, KPMG, DIS Group, ERG, KazMunayGas and the Center for Electronic Government Architecture of the RSE at the RFE “Digital Government Support Center”.

At the event there were representatives of the governmental sector, industries, banks and other organizations aimed at efficient use of data. Participants shared their experience of implementing various data systems in their organizations, optimizing costs and increasing monetization.

A separate agenda was the general move to the cloud. Speakers discussed whether the transition to cloud solutions is a key trend or a short-term fad. For many, the transition is a new step in the development of technology in their organizations.
